Honeywell Air Duct Repair in Las Vegas: What to Know First
Honeywell air duct repair in Las Vegas typically runs between $225 and $650 depending on what has failed, and most jobs are completed in a single visit. We’re an independent Honeywell service provider, which means we repair Honeywell duct components in your home without factory-authorization constraints that can slow things down. Every job gets a written price before work begins and a written guarantee when it’s done.
This page is for Las Vegas homeowners whose Honeywell equipment has stopped working right. Maybe you’ve got a Honeywell TrueZONE panel throwing an error, a bypass damper that won’t respond, or flex duct that has dried out and split in the attic heat. You want specifics, not a sales pitch. Fair. Call (725) 726-5532 and you’ll talk to a live person who can give you a straight answer.
How Honeywell Products Fail – and How We Fix Them
Honeywell builds solid equipment, but everything in a Las Vegas attic eventually fights the heat. Here’s what we actually see on service calls, and what we do about it.
- TrueZONE bypass damper failure. Honeywell’s ZD series dampers (and the older ARD series) sit in your bypass duct and swing open and closed based on zone pressure. In Las Vegas heat, the plastic gear teeth inside the actuator get brittle and strip. You’ll hear a clicking noise from the duct when the system cycles, or one room will suddenly go warm. We replace the actuator with a factory Honeywell part and check the damper blade itself for warp. Most jobs run $180 to $290 including the part.
- Split flex duct at connection points. Honeywell-branded flex duct (often installed alongside Honeywell TrueZONE or Perfect Fit systems) tends to fail where the inner liner meets the metal takeoff collar. After enough 110-degree summers, the liner separates and the duct blows air into the attic. You’ll notice one bedroom never cools. We cut back the damaged section, reconnect to the collar with the right drawband, and re-seal with mastic routed at the joint. Not duct tape. Mastic.
- TrueZONE panel reporting a “Damper Stuck” or “No Airflow” alert. Nine times out of ten this isn’t the panel itself going bad. A damper in some distant branch has seized closed, often because fine Las Vegas dust worked into the pivot points. We clean the pivots, verify the actuator travel, and run a diagnostic on the panel to confirm the fix took. If the panel has failed, we quote a replacement and explain exactly why.
- Collapsed return duct on older Honeywell installs. We see this in homes built during the early-2000s boom. A Honeywell media air cleaner or bypass humidifier was installed, but the return duct feeding it was undersized. Over time the negative pressure pulls the duct walls inward, particularly on hot days when the blower runs hard. The system gets loud, airflow drops, and the Honeywell media filter loads up fast. We re-support or replace the run and correct the sizing if it is practical to do so without ripping out walls.
- Damaged media cabinet seals on Honeywell F100 or F300 filter housings. The foam gasket around the filter access door dries out in desert air and lets unfiltered air bypass the filter entirely. You’ll see dust build up quickly on the coil, and sometimes hear a whistle at the cabinet. We replace the gasket, re-seat the cabinet, and verify no bypass with a smoke pencil test. Then you’ll see before-and-after photos of exactly what we addressed.
Those are the failures we fix at the duct level. We don’t sell you a new system when a $40 actuator fixes the problem.

Our Honeywell Air Duct Repair Process
Every Honeywell repair at Linden Air Duct Las Vegas follows the same path. Here’s what happens from the moment you call.
- 1
You call and talk to a person. A live human answers at (725) 726-5532, any time, day or night. You describe what’s wrong. We schedule a time that works for you.
- 2
You get our tech’s name and photo before we arrive. Every technician is background-checked and identity-verified under the Threshold Standard. You’ll know who is coming to the door, and they’ll show a photo ID badge when they ring.
- 3
We run diagnostics on the actual Honeywell component. We test the panel, the dampers, the airflow, and the duct condition. No guessing. We show you what we find, and we photograph everything as we go.
- 4
You get a written price before any work starts. If the fix is a Honeywell OEM actuator, you’ll see the exact part cost. If a quality aftermarket part does the job at a lower price, we’ll tell you the tradeoff and let you decide. No surprises, no bait pricing.
- 5
We do the repair and test it. Duct work happens, connections get sealed, and the component gets verified with real diagnostics. Then we walk you through what changed and hand you before-and-after photos of the work.
- 6
Your repair is covered in writing for 365 days. The 365-Day Done Right Promise means if a covered repair fails, we come back and make it right at no charge. Free second visit. Written on every job.

AfterWhat Honeywell Air Duct Repair Costs in Las Vegas
Straight numbers, because you should know before you call.
- TrueZONE damper actuator replacement: $180 to $290, depending on the damper size and whether it’s a ZD or older ARD series.
- Bypass damper rebuild (actuator plus blade): $260 to $380 when the blade itself has warped from years of heat.
- Flex duct reconnection or short section replacement: $145 to $325 per location, based on access and run length.
- TrueZONE control panel diagnostic and reset: $90 to $175. If the panel needs replacement, add $275 to $450 for the part.
- Media cabinet seal replacement (F100/F300): $75 to $150 including parts, often done during a duct cleaning visit.
- Full Honeywell duct repair with multiple failures: $450 to $1,000+ when several dampers, connections, or duct runs need attention.
What moves the price: attic access, how many zones you have, whether parts are Honeywell OEM or quality aftermarket, and how long we have been ignoring the problem. Longer neglect usually means more damage. Call (725) 726-5532 for an exact quote. Estimates are free.
Why Las Vegas Homeowners Call Linden Air Duct Las Vegas for Honeywell Work
We have been running duct work across Las Vegas since 2004, as part of the Threshold Group family. That is a lot of hot attics and a lot of Honeywell panels. Marcus Veale, our owner, grew up in Los Angeles and trained at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College before spending nearly two decades on Southwest duct systems. He has worked on single-family homes in Summerlin and commercial properties near the Strip, and his rule has not changed: if you cannot see what we cleaned, we did not do the job right.
When we show up for a Honeywell repair, we bring the right parts and the right diagnostic tools the first time. You get a written price before we start, a written guarantee when we finish, and a live person on the phone at any hour. And if your system includes a Lennox, Trane, or Carrier component that needs attention while we are there, we service those too.
Honeywell Air Duct Repair in Las Vegas: FAQs
No. As an independent Honeywell service provider, we repair the duct components and use Honeywell OEM parts where they matter for function and warranty. We never modify equipment in ways that would void a manufacturer warranty, and we document every part we install.
Most TrueZONE actuator replacements take one to two hours on site, depending on attic access and how many zones need attention. We schedule the job at a time that works for you, not the other way around. Call (725) 726-5532 and we will give you a realistic window.
We use Honeywell OEM parts as the default, because they fit right and match the panel. We sometimes recommend a quality aftermarket alternative when the OEM part is backordered or the price difference matters to the homeowner. You get the choice, the price, and the tradeoff in writing before anything gets installed.
We test every repair before we leave, and we photograph the before-and-after. You will see the damaged component, the replacement, and the test result. The 365-Day Done Right Promise backs it in writing. If a covered repair fails, we come back at no charge. Call (725) 726-5532 to schedule a diagnostic.
In most Las Vegas homes, repairing is the better first step because failures are usually mechanical, not electronic. A stuck damper or a stripped actuator costs a lot less than a new panel. If the panel genuinely needs replacement, we quote you both options with prices and let you decide. No pressure from us.
Yes, we cover the entire Las Vegas area, from Summerlin and Henderson to North Las Vegas and properties closer to the Strip. If you own a Honeywell system and something in the ductwork has failed, call (725) 726-5532 and tell us what is happening. We will schedule a visit and send you the tech’s name and photo before arrival.
